Hi,

Does 'Detach the datasource after generating categories' property in Prefernces dialog (File menu option --> Preferences --> File tab) help to cut down on cube build time?

Have never noticed any performance gains or other wise when selecting this option. Much more to be gained by tweeking cache sizes and palying with the structure of the cubes
