I have a macro that first generates the needed macro's that generates a cube and finally copies the generated cubes to a folder. Before this last step I would like to include to disabling of this cubes in Powerplay Enterprise Server and then after copying enabling them again. I cannot figure out how to adress powerplay enterprise server in a macro environment.

Any help?

Regards,

Menno

Are you using a .bat file that calls cognos macros?

If so you could use the PowerPlay Admin Tool which gives you the flexability of disconnecting individual cubes.

Otherwise from your batch you could do a
net stop "PowerPlay Enterprise Server (cer3)"
to disable all cubes before you copy over

Also refer to thread401-424007 for more info on the admin tool.

Cheers!

Charles
