Powerplay Enterprise Server 6.61 RBF 3

WE have been told by Cognos support to install RBF 3 for Powerplay Ent Server 6.61 to solve multiple issues we are having.

Has anyone ever added this RBF? Are there installations guidelines somewhere ? What to backup, copy etc, before you install ?

Any information would be useful.
