Hello all.

I'm currently attempting to get an AT&T PowerMate Model 22050-001 working on an AT&T Legend 7.

The Powermate is programmed on Line/Trunk 812, and when you press the programmed button (which is set up as a personal line) it doesn't work, it seems to connect you to something, but It doesn't ring, it doesn't connect you to the paging system.

I've tried connecting it to the trunk line with a 6, 4 and 2 conductor wire.

I've successfully programmed a PagePac 6 on the same port, but for my current purposes, I need to use the Powermate.

Does anyone have any information on this particular unit?

Thanks in Advance,
John.

Are you using a trunk adapter on your Legend line port? The Powermate requires a contact closure to cut through the paging signal. The paging input to the Powermate is 4-conductor, pins 2&3 are the voice pair and pins 1&4 are the contact closure. You could put a short between pins 1&4 and then try a page to see if this is your problem. If it now works then you need to add a trunk adapter. The Manual for the Powermate should be available at Brian Cox

That makes perfect sense, because I had this powermate in
a merlin plus before, and it worked fine in there... When i went back and doublechecked, it has a jack specifically designed for paging.

Thanks alot!
