Powermac out of memory error 1

I have a coworker who is running Frontpage (I don't know the version) on a Powermac (OS 8.6.1 I believe). Everything has been working reasonably well until about a week ago. She is now getting Out of Memory errors, or the occasional Unexpected Exception error when she tries to run Frontpage.

I am not very familiar with Macs. I'm not sure how to tell how much memory it is using or how much is available. From what I can tell, she seems to have plenty of hard drive space available, and we've tried increasing the virtual memory, but had no success.

Can anyone direct me on where to go with this? I appreciate your help.

Thanks for that link. I ran the utility, and it appears that she has plenty of free memory. We are now operating under the theory that the web site she is trying to open has somehow gotten corrupted and expanded (which is something we've seen before), and this time it expanded so large that she can no longer open it.

I've got somebody else who is working on the web site side of things to try to resolve this. Hopefully that will resolve it.

Thanks for you help.

OK so only Front page is running out of memory, ther is plenty of memory in the Mac, right?

Click Once on the Frontpage Icon (not an alias) Then Choose FILE, GET INFO and choose Memory. You should be able to make the preferred memory bigger. (do not exceed the free space you saw in Memory Mapper)

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

Wow! That solved the problem perfectly. I can't say thank you enough. You rule!
