Powering Down the G430 Server

We have an office that will be replacing its UPS System and had asked me to powerdown the G430. What is the best way to power it down? And also bring it back up In addition to check to see if the status says if it is down...and if it is up?

Is there an 8300 in the gateway? There are a couple ways to shut the 8300 down - Log into the web page and shut it down or someone could also press the shutdown button on the 8300 board and wait for the light to go solid.

If no 8300 then just pull power.

What is your CM software release and version?

g430 is a media-gateway

For status - CM SAT
Command: prompt, use list media-gateway to see registered media-gateways.

use list configuration media-gateway to see media-modules including s8300 server module and phone media-modules
use list survivable-processor to see LSP and ESS survivable servers.
