Poweredge 4300 & Windows 2003 Server

I have an older Poweredge 4300 and I have installed windows 2003 server. The problem is that the computer will not boot unless there is a cd in the CD-ROM tray. If you remove the CD the computer will stall while loading 2003 server. Any suggestions on what I could try? I have update the firmware and all of the SCSI controllers firmware but have not made any progress.
