Is there a hard drive out there that will fit into a PowerEdge 2850 and is larger than 300GB(largest one Dell offers)?

Thanks.

IIRC, the 2850 has an LVD SCSI backplane, and I'm pretty sure that all the drive manufacturers switched over to SAS before they introduced any models over 300GB.

I think you're out of luck. Your best bet if you want to retain the 2850 for whatever reason is to use an external DAS enclosure.
