Two 2450s were donated to our church website. One Server is up and running, with parts added to it from the other. We want a backup, so I've purchased A power-supply, 512 ECC PC 133 memory, A PIII slot 1 800mhz 256K CPU, Some drive caddy's, and a 5.25" to 3.5" mount drive bay, all to place in the cannabalized server to get it up and running.

Installed the above parts AND a PCI nic card, placed at the topmost part of the PCI slots, and a Promise FastTrack PCI IDE card - a big IDE drive in modified 5.25->3.5 drive bay: cheaper scsi drive.)

System booted, I configed the Raid containter, saw an error message (system ram not in correct slot.) This is where I made some mistakes.
* Put the 512 stick in the right slot (nearest SCSI backplane).
* Saw that the SCSI ram stick was PCI 100 64mb unbuffered. Replaced the 100 64mb stick with a PCI 133 128mb ram thinking that I'd gain performance - ram was unbuffered - so installed it in the SCSI DIMM slot.
* Re-booted again, ready to install linux. No video. Fans were on. Lights were on, hard drive indicators all green. Then read the manual closer, realized that it was not the right kind of memory, 2450 won't work with PCI 133 in SCSI DIMM slot.

Swapped SCSI DIMM memory back. Booted. Still no video, sounded like everthing ELSE came up (Fans, lights, etc.). Noticed by "hearbeat" icon on front panel indicator, light is amber. Won't turn off, even if you hold down the power button for a minute. Only way to turn it on/off? Plug it in/unplug it. This has been the state of the server ever since.

What I've tried (none has worked):
Removed everything, reseated everything. No dice. (same as above)
Flashed bios with jumper.
Pressed "reset" button on motherboard by power cable.
Added another video card - still no luck.
Removed system memory to see if I'd get a "beep", no beep, acts as above.
Removed system CPU to see if I'd get a "beep", no beep, acts as above.
Removed SCSI KEY and SCSI DIMM.
Removed ALL PCI peripherals, tried to flash bios. No dice.
Put everything back IN as I had it, with sys-memory deliberatly in wrong place. Nope.
Removed all jumpers (even the reserves, trying to get an error or something.) Did no do anything - when plugged in, fans, lights, all seem to be working. No video.
Moved power supply to slot 2. Nothing.

Manual said something like an "amber" light means the system is sleeping?

Did I fry this board? Where do I get a replacement?

Any help would be really, really, appreciated.
Thanks,
-J
