Hi All,

Has anyone deployed IPOCC Release 10? The ignition process that you follow once you go to and fill in the section on the Settings>License; it picks up the Centralized WebLM Server however it will not let me fill in the WebLM Client ID. Has anyone experienced this? Not sure if I am missing something here.

In 10.1 I can at least write something there but don't use centralized licensing so can't test if it actually works.

You shouldn't use 10.0 anyway, it's "old" and I myself reported a ton of stuff that's fixed in later releases.

Hi,

OFFTOPIC:

Sorry for the offtopic but I have a question regarding the version 10.0.. I have installed it at a client and since I've read that it has a lot of bugs, should I upgrade to 10.4 (service pack 4 i saw it on Avaya's website) or 10.1 ? and for 10.1 I don't need a new license right ?

Thank you :)

@vladcbv:
No you won't need an additional license if you want to upgrade IPO and/or IPOCC from 10.0 to 10.1.
It's not like it was with 9.0 -> 9.1, this time it's free.

Thanks again Alfalis! :)

So I should go ahead and do the upgrade.. it is worth it right? I meen it's not worse than 10.0.. I haven't got time to test them :)

Some of the new features include:
- Hotline Dial Delay
- Multiple Appearance Directory Number MADN
- Privacy Override
- Internal Ring on Transfer
- Hyper-V support
- Media Manager instead of Contact Recorder

I'd say those new features are worth it, yes - but you have to decide for yourself, especially since 10.0 has already had 4 service packs and 10.1 is still rather "fresh" so there might(!) be some issues.

You might not wanna upgrade IPO to 10.1 but you can run IPOCC 10.1 with IPO 10.0 SP4.

Did Avaya fix the Wallboard in 10.1? I have a customer that their Wallboard crashes almost every day (running 9.1.8), they need to restart it and it regularly goes down completely, where I need to restart services to get it working again.

Thanks!!
