Hi - does anyone here know whether PWCTR can directly extract from non relational databases such as IMS - if so, then how? thanks for any insights!

PowerCenter on its own is not capable of reading IMS. You
would need to use another Informatica piece of Software,
Power Exchange. This is installed on both the Mainframe and
the Power Center Application Server.

Of course, Power Exchange is not free...

Hi ,We can use the power center for extracting the data from un structured and semistructured sources ,y cant we use the pwrcenter for non relational sources can u explain me clearly
