Powercenter and Acord based XML

Has anyone used Powercenter to process Acord - based xml?

Reason I'm asking is because I am running into a problem doing this since one of the Acord xml schemas is over 50 megs. Parsing and validating it against the xml file is not working.

I'm thinking I can't be the only one using an etl tool to process industry standard xml data and was hoping I could leverage some advice and expertize from this forum.

Thanks for any help.
