PowerBuilder Application Migration

I am trying to migrate an existing PB app from PB6.5 to PB7. The migration seems to work ok. I am able to build a new exe file but when I go into the application and move around the forms I get select errors.

I know this isn't much info but I was just wondering if there is some tweak I need to do between 6.5 and 7.0. The app is working fine in 6.5

are you talking db select errors? Make sure you have the latest patches for PB7 as well. There were several bugs with pb7 out of the box... one that I can remember off hand was datawindows with a detail height of 0 (zero) would crash (consistently). Other than that we have successfully migrated a dozen or so applications without any such issue. Good Luck

actually it seems to be a datawindow select error...not a db select error.

Also, I believe that the latest patches have been applied. PB is currently at ver 7.0.3.

I have seen some funky things where adding columns to the datawindow has caused these sort of issues... I guess you have tried exporting the datawindows giving you problems and re-importing them via the library manager??
