PowerBook Virtual Pc and Wireless Connection

I have a G4 Powerbook running Virtual PC. I'm trying to use a wireless 'remote touch' screen to 'run' a pc based application but the touch screen needs to use a specific IP address.

How can I change the IP address on the wireless part of my laptop that inturn can be 'seen' by the application running on the virtual pc?

Does anyone have any suggestions?
