I'm trying to connect to the Net using the T39 via infrarred & GPRS (under OS 9.2.2; no OS X around, so no "Ericsson client" neither), but I can only get to be disconnected after the PPP link is established. I checked the ISP and phone connection with the PC laptop of a friend and it worked perfectly. I guess that the problem has to do with the T39 modem script. If I'm right, there go two questions:
1) Where can I find some working script for Titanium Irda + T39 + OS 9?
2) What are the key parameters in the init string? I've copied that stuff from the Windows modem script but it didn't work neither.
Also, if anybody has other suggestions (apart of changing the phone or the laptop
), they will be welcome.
