Turns out my problem was the bootable hard drive failed, that's why it couldn't come up. To add to the bad luck, my mksysb tape has the wrong header
and it won't restore. Does anybody know how how I can recover the system data from the mksysb tape, and is there an outfit that can recover the data
from a failing 9155 hard drive? Thanks!
