Power supply for TD612

Hi Guys.. I have a TD612 tghat the power supply appears to be gone in.. (unit cant start power supply light flickers and audible clicking heard)
I have a old analogue KXT-624 which is identical in size shape etc..(But no visual Specs on the voltage ampage etc etc)and I;m wondering if the PSU from this would work in the Digital system...any one come across this issue before?

it may not be the psu, the power/run light is controlled by the CPU
