We have a computer room situated in an Air-Sealed room at one of our sites. Working in there even with the door open gives us a headache.

What emmissions come out of PSU's on Compaq Servers - Or any other device?

I need to know for Health and Safety reasons.

Thanks in advance,
Simon,

Emmissions ?

Its a electrical device just like a TV / HiFi etc, the only emmisions would be, warm air, extracted by the FANs used to cool the various devices in the server.

There may be very low electro-static radiation but nothing that you wouldn't get siting in your living room, listening to the radio.

I'd suggest that you check out the aircon.

I assume there's some sort of positive air pressure in the room? If the room is sealed you're right, that exhaled C02 isn't too good for you.

And plastics do outgas over their lifetime. That could be another problem.

Let's not forget PC boards, polyphenol something or other. I'd bet that outgases over time too.
