This coming weekend they are shutting down a PDU for emergency maintenance. I have a C-6500 switch that has one of it's power supplies on this PDU and the other on a different PDU. From looking at the current power settings, I think the switch will continue to work with just one power supply. I would appreciate some input based on the output below to determine whether I am correct in my assumption. Thanks in advance for the assistance.

Thanks for the response, but what I was really asking based on the numbers provided, do you think this particular switch will still function with just one of the power supplies, meaning will it provide enough juice to run Sup/msfc/line cards... etc?

system power redundancy mode = combined

Change the power setting to redundant before you make the switch. I don't know if that will bounce the switch, but I'm willing to bet it won't, call cisco to make sure.

If you come up short and it looks like you will be short, you will see one or more of your blades power down due to lack of power.

Cisco has a power calculator for determining your exact power consumption and needs.
