Power Point Question

When runnig a pps slide show a few navigational ICON's show in the lower left corner. Page forware, back, etc. I can turn these off with a Ctrl+M but they do not stay off. In my document they are in the way and I have created my own controls.

Can I turn these controls off permantly for a specific document? Can I use VBA to do this.
