Power Point: Any way to start and stop a msic file

I have put together a power point presentation where I used a lot of pictures in a slide show. Each picture stays up for like 5 seconds. I also has a music file playing in the background. However, certain pictures goes well together with a specific music file; but as I start another music file, the then previous music file overlaps the new file started.
Is there a way to stop the, then playing, music file and play another music file to corespond to which picture is shown?
