Hi,

we wish powerpoint play with occupancy of rooms (Zaal in Dutch)
(in appendix an example which was filled in manually)

the room occupancy is kept up in excel file and adapted each day(example also in appendix)

the intention is that the power point would be updated automatically.
- in the heading comes the name of the group which has booked.
- the hours they wish which use the room are comming below the headher.
- we strive for maximum two groups for each slide.

is this feasable with excel and powerpoint?

who give can me the solution?

Why add the complexity of a second application?

Why not do it all in Excel, if Excel is indeed where the data tables are stored?

It is not a difficult task to manipulate the properties of shapes/display in a workbook, based on a set of criteria.

Are you coding this in Excel or Powerpoint VBA? If so, then post follow-on development/code questions in forum707.

I don't know exactly.
we have office 2003.
I guess VB5

It is VB 6.3
I see it when I'm opening excel and going to the editor with Alt + F11

In Excel, alt+F11 is the VB Editor for VBA: Retail 6.5.1053. This is not what this forum addresses.

Please post any further questions and discussion in forum707.
