Hi,

I have two tables. One has Building Characteristics and the other has utility billing data. Each has a street address field. The building Characteristics table has one record per street address. The Utility Billing data has many records per street address. The street address field is the only one I can use as a "Key" to create a relationship. Why can't the address fields be linked to one another? I am getting a message that each field contains duplicates, but the Building Characteristics table does not have duplicates in the address field. I believe I have a one to many relationship and I can not understand why it will not relate?

Thank you!

I answered my own question. There are duplicate values in both fields. Long story... There is not supposed to be according to the software vendor. I will have to find out why.

Thanks anyway...
