Can someone tell me whether or not Cisco In-line power switches (POe) are compatible with the Nortel line of IP phones, particulary the i2002?

thanks

To my knowledge, Cisco PoE switches will support all Nortel IP Phones. I asked this question earlier this year, and I seem to remember this being the response.

Hope this helps,

Scott M.

Cisco POE switches work with Nortel phase 2 sets without any type of splitter/adapter. Phase 0/phase 1 sets require a Powerdesine "universal power splitter" to work.

If you're buying new phones, they should all be phase 2. Be careful with any older sets, as those splitters run about $30 a piece.
