Power Output Limits on AP's

Are there any limits regarding the power output from wireless AP's.
I heard somewhere that in the US they can set their AP's to 100mW but in the UK we can only set them for 50mW.
Could someone please clarify this.

that is correct..US 100 Europe 50..you should use the european ios image for these devices and then can't put it on 100

CCNA, CCNP..partly ;)
