The other day we had a power outage outside of business hours that lasted longer than our battery backups could handle and our VMWare server that handles our phone system (Cisco BE6K) was off.
Naturally I had to power on the system, which of course didn't automatically start the VMs - so I powered on the VMs manaully (I can fix that).
Our phones and voicemail came back online - yea!
Jabber on the other hand keeps saying "Cannot communicate with the server."
The VM that runs it (I'm assuming) "CUCM IM and Presence Server" is running and the console provides me with a login screen (working on getting the credentials to that from our installer). I would have thought the services should have started up with the server though, so I'm not certain what's wrong.
