I have an emachine that's having problems starting up. When I power it on, I can hear the fans run for about 10 seconds and then everything shuts down. I thought it was the power supply so I replaced but I still have the same problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a thermal issue...

make sure that your HeatSink Fan is clear of dust and functioning properly...

Aired' out all heat sinks and fans, still have same problem. Any other suggestions? Thanks

Did it work ok before? Did you make any changes, new drive or cd rom? Could be the power supply. If the cpu heat sink and fan is ok, would like to bet its the PSU unit not delivering enough power. Good luck and regards
