Hi, to everyone there, i'm working with BC9, The DSU in lim 1 EQU 1-0-**-** & EQU-1-0-**-**. detected a power failure. All extn. belongs to this LIM doesnt have a ring. I changed the REU board but still same problem. REU board has a input of 52Vdc but doesnt have the output of 80V AC.When i removed the REU board on the slot and switch it on, i got the output of 80VAC but when i inserted it back voltage outout is going down to 0v. Is it advisable to remove all card one by one in LIM mag. 0&1 or the whole lim. I have 4 mag. in all LIM's.

If I remember well the story with Pu4DC and REU, the REU is installed in one magazin and the ring voltage is distributed to other magazine via PU4DC
Ring signal is distributed to the board via one pair on the backplane.
My sugesstion is to disconnect the cable that distribut the ring signal from PU4DC to PU4DC and verify that in mag 0 you have ring signal.
Then connect mag 1 and test again and so on up to mag 3.
When you find in which mag the ring signal disappear, unplug all ELU29 boards (I guess that one of these boards has a problem).
As soon as you have found which mag is faulty, it is up to you to find if it is a board (including the PU4DC) or the mag itself that it is faulty.
