I'm a Linux newbie (less than 24 hours), so this is probably gonna be a very fundamental question. How do I access the power management settings in Mandrake Linux 10? For instance, I want to use a screensaver, but instead of the ss staying on, the monitor will just shut off after about 10 minutes. I've looked around in the monitor, desktop, and other similiar settings, but I've found nothing. Also, checking the "Make screensaver aware of power management" button hasn't done anything either.

Assuming that you're using KDE, how about: Application Launcher (start button), Configuration, KDE, Power Control, Display Power Control.
