Currently if my system shuts the monitor down due to power management, I cannot revive it after that and have to reset. On occasions it would hang in my screen saver. I also have problems in hibernation which may be from a same cause Anyone knows what to do.

Current System Specs.
AMD Athlon 550 MHz Slot A
MSI 6167 (Bios Updated to Current version 1.6)
Creative TNT2 Ultra (Running on latest drivers)
Windows 2000 SP2
250 Atapi Zip Drive (which I have plugged out and disabled to see if it's the cause but it isn't)
PC100 Kingston Ram
Sound Blaster Live Value
300 Watts Power Supply

Help been going bonkers over this issue.

Go into the control panel > power options... from there, disable hibernation support on the hibernate tab... you also may wish to set the turn off monitor option (on the power schemes tab) to never...
