Hi!
PowerMac B&W G3 with MAC OS 8.5.1 need to be upgrading to 9.1. Install need to upgrade firmware. But it could not be completed because finder coud not see firmware update file. Now MAc starts from hard disk with the old 8.5.1 and can not start from CD. It also does not react on pressing interrupt button (nothing happpened). Zapping PRAM does not help. It looks like firmware contents is corrupt. But this MAC has file ROM.
So how to manage MAC to boot it from CD again?
thanks

Try starting up from the hard drive, then, in control panel, select startup device and click the CD, then restart.
