Pots line confrencing

I was told that using the 64 party confrencing stinks with one or two pots lines in it. Is this correct.

when using analog lines you are limited to 2 external parties. But yes it would stand to reason that introducing analog trunks into a multiparty conference (presumably most parties on PRI?) would give the quality a hit.

I have a dream - where someday both sides of the atlantic will stand side by side, brothers, equal in the sight of both God and Avaya. I think the original post was refering to analog exts being in the conf. This should not be a problem ( the origins of the IPO was as a POT only system) however the quality of alog phones does vary & in a conf 1 bad phone is going to have an efect on all the others
