Posting forms

Hi,

Is it possible to post info to a page that is already open?

I would like to be able to open a page, fill in some form details, then open a new window, collect further information and post it back to the original page.

Its for adding attachments to an email and I would like to deal with the attachments on a separate page, but send the file names back to the original email form.

Hope this has made sense.
