Posting error

Hi All,

Am getting the following error when posting an entry from the GL

1 E Damaged data. Fiscal set 2010 KES not found for account
101105000KEHSNYAFRN. Check data integrity and, if necessary, restore the data
from your most recent backup copy. See Appendix A in the G/L User Guide for more
information.

2 E Internal error. Error during Actual Post posting. Check messages list. Write down
the message, leave Sage Accpac and Windows and return to the system prompt.
Reset your computer and try the task again. See Appendix A in the G/L User Guide.

Kindly assist on how to fix this.

Restore that record to GLAFS. Somebody has been screwing with your data, this is not a normal problem.

I have looked at that particular account in that table and
it appears once in each of this years 2007,2008,2009 the twice in 2010.


How exactly do you restore it to the table GLAFS?

If you don't have a good backup, then type it in with your database editor.

I have seen this happen once only with a client, after the GL year end some accounts did not have a GLAMF record added. Insert a record in the database and run DIC again, you need to fix the opening balance if it is a BS account.
