Hi everybody,
First post here, i have the task of implementing a new mail server for the company i work with.
At the moment we have a dedicated server in a data center working ok, but we want to build something for internal use as not everbody is going to have access to send external emails.
So the idea is to keep the dedicated server and have ours to work internally with only few accounts having the cappability of sending external emails, and the rest to work internally.
Obviously both postfix (the one in the dedicated server and the one in the office shall talk between them), and the question is:
What would it be the best approch to the project?
My idea is to have the dedicated as the primary MX and maybe retrieve the mail in the office postfix with fetchmail.., and anything that goes outside shall go through the primary MX...
What would you recommend as best scenario?,
thanks in advance,
regards.
