After removing mailman from one of our mailhubs, postfix has started to bounce emails with the following:-

his is the Postfix program at host xxxx.xxxxxx.xxxxxx.

I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not
be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below.

For further assistance, please send mail to <postmaster>

If you do so, please include this problem report. You can
delete your own text from the attached returned message.

The Postfix program

<xxxxxxxxx@xxxxx.xxxxxxx>: unknown user: "xxxxxx"

From what I can understand from the the documentation that set it up, the mail server in question should be set up as a relay to the other mailhub which is the sole one with mailman installed on it.

Any ideas?

So your Postfix server doesn't have a "mailman" or mailing list user anymore? Try putting in a transport map for those addresses pointing to the server that does run mailman.

It might be simpler to create a new domain like "lists.xxxxxx.xxxxxx" for mailing lists, then there wouldn't be a need for transport maps.
