postfix + google groups mail problem

Hi all,
when our company recive a mail from a google group mailing list, we always see the "FROM" field in this way:

NAME+bncBC7ZJAV6ZQFBBOUJXSCAKGQE5PMKRZY@googlegroups.com

Am i missing something? Is our postfix unable 2 decode the sender address?
Can someone turn on the light, please?

The use of name+(apparently random junk) looks like a form of obfuscation to me where you are getting a link that Google can use to forward any replies to their true email address without giving you their true email address.
