Hi folks,
I'm a systems administrator for a small company and they are currently running a firewall/gateway on a machine running freeBSD .
They are also running postfix on this machine and I have recently got the following error messages within emails that have bounced when sending to specific addresses, such as the one below;
" The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
ezysouthland@vic.chariot.net.au on 30/06/2006 4:47 PM
The e-mail system was unable to deliver the message, but did not report a specific reason. Check the address and try again. If it still fails, contact your system administrator.
< mail.vic.chariot.net.au #5.0.0 X-Postfix; maildir delivery failed: error writing message: Disk quota exceeded> "
I understand that it's a mailbox quota problem which users of posfix are assigned.....my question is if, there is a setting or parameter within /postfix/main.cf that we can modify to resolve this issue so that we dont have emails bouncing back with disk quota exceeded errors being reported?
Any suggestions/solutions would be greatly appreciated...thankyou.
cheers
