I am new to the Linux and postfix realm, was hoping someone here might be able to give me an idea as to what can do to fix my problem which is as follows;
I have a Red Hat 8 box with Postfix 1.2 installed, I have multiple websites running and several virtual mail boxes that work fine, members of each website can send and receive mail, a friend had helped me setup this box up, he’s not around so I can’t ask him what’s gone wrong, but he had setup a pearl script that let me add users to my server, all has worked fine until now, I added a new site and added a user, I can see that there is a mail box for the new user, but I can not log into the mail server for this user and if I send an email to this user it goes to the webmaster for mail that is not address to anyone… This did happen once before, a long time ago and if I remember correctly I needed to set some kind of permissions that pathed this email address to the sever user, does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this?
TIA
