I am using Mac OS 10.6.2 (Darwin) and have used MailServe Snow to enable postfix on the system. This is setup under /usr/local/cutedge/postfix. Mail from the command line works fine.

I am trying to use lpr to print and fax. With the -m option, lpr is supposed to send a confirmation e-mail on print/fax jobs. However, mail.log records the following error:

Dec 15 21:36:45 MacBookPro postfix/sendmail[1801]: fatal: execvp /usr/sbin/postdrop: Operation not permitted
Dec 15 21:36:46 MacBookPro postfix/sendmail[1800]: warning: command "/usr/sbin/postdrop -r" exited with status 1
Dec 15 21:36:46 MacBookPro postfix/sendmail[1800]: fatal: _lp(26): unable to execute /usr/sbin/postdrop -r: Unknown error: 0

My post drop permissions are:
-rwxr-sr-x 1 root _postdrop 484848 Oct 16 05:04 /usr/sbin/postdrop

Can someone tell me what is wrong? Thanks.
