Post SP4 restarting problem

I have a 2000 server at SP4 fully patched running Exchange 2000 SP3.

Since applying SP4, I have had problems restarting the server. Not every time; perhaps on half the occasions. I am faced with a blank screen with no icons. Ctrl-alt-del has no effect and I have to reset.

Anyone else had this after installing SP4?
