Does anybody know where I can found out what the error beeps during POST mean? I am aware that 3 beeps means the Video Card is dodgy. My pc is giving a two-tone signal and nothing else. I have stripped the motherboard back down to bare bones and the only thing that stops the sound is removing the Processor (Slot 1). Does that mean the processor is goosed or am I to look elsewhere?

Many thanks for your help :)

Check your RAM. I think your memory is fried. If you have more than one slot installed then try removing one of them and then restart. If that doesn't work let your RAM test at a local hardware store or buy new one.

BEEPS depend upon the manufacturer of your MOBO. Most using one tone only. Here's MRBIOS code with two tones.
