We just rolled out our first Citrix PS4 farm a few months ago and are still green. We rolled out the PNAgent 9.1 to the desktops successfully and users seem to be connecting to application without issue, until now. We just published an application which isn't playing nicely with the PNAgent. It seems to the application does not like to run with the window size set to "seamless". We have set the resolution in the published application, but this seems to have no effect on the agent. The problem is fixed if we manually set the agent's windows size in the properties --> session options. So my question is how can I configure the already deployed agent's "window size"?

What is the application? Does this app function ok using a web client?

I am not sure if it is related but we found a small "bug" when users have "dual monitors". The dual monitors can be a true dual monitor/video card setup OR a laptop (setup with the LCD and a CRT (external) monitor.

If the primary display IS NOT the "LEFT" monitor the seamless app window size goes bonkers. We saw Citrix basically double the window seize/resolution settings.

We also found that part of our problem was caused by the Windows 2000 security update rollup for SP4. When users with a dual monitor setup would launch the app they would be presented with a window with no logon prompt and the CPU usage on the server would spike to 100%. We uninstalled the rollup because Citrix's hotfix for this issue is only for the latest FR, which we do not have installed.

So, for the time being we have to make sure that any client with a dual monitor setup has the LEFT monitor set as primary.

We found reference to both of these issues on Citrix's website via Google...but I cannot find the links right now. If you think your problem may be related to this let me know and I will see if one my my coworkers saved the link.

PS - an easy way to test this is to launch from a PC that does not have a dual monitor setup (Keep in mind, this could be a true dual monitor setup, a laptop that sometimes plugs into a projector or external monitor, or the "dual display" setup in XP

To answer your question trock1004, its a California state homegrown application. It works for 90% of everyone using the application on Citrix. Now here is a little bit more information; it seems that the problem is only present on Dell OptiPlex 27- units and not all of them, just a select few. And only on the selected few when running "seamless" mode. The problem is that the application starts out just fine however the application has submenu calls which don't appear. The application requires 1024x768.and works on all other models. I have compared the different Dell 270's and they have identical software and hardware installed. We are not running dual monitors.
