I am trying my first cgi script. It is set up to POST. Nothing happens when I press the submit button. I printed out the %ENV hash and it doesn't have a content-length parameter. Is there some secret configuration parameter to get apache to respond to a post?

Are you sure that it is related to apache conf?

Have you put a correct form parser in the script?

Hi to all,

Yes: obviously you have to put a parser in the head of your script (you can easily find an example on the internet). But I don't think that's the problem, because even whitout a parser the ENV hash should have the post content in itself. Maybe you should verify your HTML, looking for bugs between the <FORM>...</FORM> tags. As far as I know, Apache should always respond to posts.

Bye! :)
