The only way to find the bad NIC is by using a traffic analyzer like Sniffer or Novell's Lanalyzer. You could also tell if you have a bad card by looking at your hubs and seeing a light on steadily. This usually means that this workstation is the culprit.
If you have to replace the NIC in the server you will need to unload the driver (make sure you delete the line from AUTOEXEC.NCF), remove the bad NIC and installing the new one. Once the server is back up, load the new driver and make sure you bind ALL the needed protocols to the new NIC. Also, make sure you add the new LOAD and BIND commnds to AUTOEXEC.NCF.
