hey all, does anyone know if it is possible to specify the netdir directory to use via the cmd line/shortcut properties when loading up paradox? I know that you can set a bde cfg file to use but the problem is that you can only write to the cfg file using objectpal/delphi. I have an installshield project that installs a paradox app and I need to specify the netdir to use based on the install dir selected by the user.

My hope is that there is some undocumented way of specifying the netdir throught he cmd line/shortcut or perhaps there is a way to write to the cfg file using vbscript or something that I can load up through installshield. My only other option is to have someone write me a delphi exe that can be called from installshield and passed the relevant path information - anyone have any suggestions/insight?

thanks much
