possible to run Oracle OEM tools GUI tools at Solaris Like Windows NT

any one can help me to how can use Oracle OEM tools GUI tools in Solaris like

Security manager
Schema Manager
Storage manager
Data manager

i am using Solaris 8 with Oracle 8i

Hi Rashid,

As far as I know for Oracle 8i , OEM is available only for Windows NT and Windows 95/98. However, the intelligent agent can run on UNIX or Windows NT. You can start intelligent agent on Solaris as "$ORACLE_HOME/bin/lsnrctl dbsnmp_start"

On Oracle 9i, the oem exe on Solaris is under $ORACLE_HOME/bin and is called oemapp. All you need is to throw an x-session from your client host to solaris server and start oem as "oemapp console". You can run it in stand alone mode which will not require the Oracle Intelligent agent.
