possible to reinstall windows explorer?

Hi

After upgrading to sp1 accessing a partition via windows explorer has become very slow i.e. I have to wait about 1min for it to show each time the comp is started up, if I go back and access it after the first time it's fine.

Also going via My computer works fine, so it's very strange that it only happens in win explorer.

is there any way to reinstall it to see if it helps?

you could try to:
1. I think the installation process lets you remove, install AND *Repair. So it's not all or nothing you could try to repair the current install b4 ultimately wiping clean and restarting

2. try in the RUN command: (type text in brackets)
[sfc /scannow] ( I think this realistically may do the same thing as REPAIR above) Tranpkp
