Hi,
Is it possible to publish a stand-alone projector file for Linux using the Windows version of Flash MX 2004 Professional?
I know you can publish for Mac(.hqx) and Windows(.exe) but no option exists for Linux.
I have some thin clients that are running Linux and some that are running Windows NT so I need to publish for both but obviously don't want to develop on two different OS's.
I tried to get the .swf to play through the browser but it will not work apparently because a trimmed down version of the browser is installed due to memory constraints on the thin client. Everytime I attempt to open websites with Flash content, I get memory reference errors and the browser shuts down.
Any hints to either resolve the memory reference errors so I can use the .swf or how to compile for Linux would be most appreciated!
Thx!
J
