I would like to be able to create a file (comma-separated?) that Outlook can read in and create tasks for. Is this possible?

Thanks!

Kate

Hi,

Yes. Outlook can import tasks from CSV files. If you want to see the format requirements, do a test export like the following.

1. Create a 'test' folder under 'Tasks' node in outlook.
2. Add 2-3 tasks in that folder.
3. Now click 'Import and Export' in 'File' menu.
4. Select 'Export to a File' option.
5. Select CSV (Windows) option.
6. Select 'test' sub-folder under 'Tasks' node.
7. Select a location for the export file.
8. Complete the process.

The file you just created is a sample that outlook can import from.
